Christian Schuldt is founder and namesake for both CS Messtechnik & Instruments.

He began with a machinist apprenticeship, which was followed by engineering studies in Hamburg. His professional career as young engineer started at DANFOSS, where he worked for five years. Christian Schuldt was quickly entrusted with a major project; he was responsible for building the Danfoss quality laboratories and took care for a successful implementation.

At his second employer SABROE Christian Schuldt led a team of 30 employees. He was responsible for quality assurance, in charge of service and was a worldwide recognized expert in air pressure as a lineman in action. Under his leadership, the warranty costs were kept to a minimum and increase service revenue by 60 %.

1992 Christian Schuldt ventured the step to independence and established the CS Ingenieur Service. Only one year later laid the foundation for today's success down by inventing the measuring chamber including patent application - read more about the story in our story. Meanwhile CS instrument is German market leader in air pressure. There is an extremely high flexibly to the diverse customer requirements. Always motivated by the question "What does the customer want?" solutions will be developed in close consultation with the clients. Christian Schuldt of course benefits from his long term professional experience.

With his business partner Wolfgang Blessing connects Christian Schuldt far more than the fact that both are sons of farmers and thus grew up on farms. The CS Instruments Managing Director shall be considered as absolute air experts, are men from the practice of measuring instruments for practice and possess a highly developed hands-on mentality. Together they make up the successful dual leadership of CS Instruments for the past 8 years.

Wolfgang Blessing

After successfully completing his engineering degree from the University of Applied Sciences in Furtwangen (Black Forest), Wolfgang Blessing was more than 10 years product manager for industrial measurement technique at TESTO in Lenzkirch.

During this time Testo was switching from a pure supplier of portable hand-held instruments for air and ventilation to a provider for stationary measurement technology for the industry. He was responsible for the development and successful global marketing of the first humidity and dew point meter for stationary use.

In 2002 he started his own business and founded CS Messtechnik GmbH together with Christian Schuldt, which ought to be a very successful team as we now know. Because of very rapid growth, especially in Asia and the USA, their company was renamed in CS Instruments GmbH in 2007.

The development of the worldwide established FA 300 dew point sensor has been the basis of rapid growth. Other measuring devices followed. A variety of own products – mobile and stationary consumption sensors, leak detectors and multi-function displays – have been developed and continue to be developed by the CS research and development team, which is led by Wolfgang Blessing.
