15.12.09 | | VA 420 - The affordable consumption counter for compressed air and gases | |
| | | The new consumption counters VA 420 work according to the approved calorimetric measuring principle. An additional pressure and temperature compensation is not necessary. Every consumption counter has an integrated measuring section (inlet and outlet section) for flow conditioning. The consumption counters are available for all current pipe diameters like 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1 1/2" and 2". Our long-term approved VA 400 consumption sensors are available for larger pipe diameters. Apart from compressed air also other gases like e.g. nitrogen, oxygen, CO2, argon and helium can be measured. The integrated display shows the actual consumption in m³/h and the total consumption (counter reading) in m³. At the touch of a button further units like e.g. litres/min can be selected and the counter can be set to "zero". For stationary use there are the following outputs available for the data transfer to a building management system or PLC: 4...20 mA for actual consumption, pulse output (galvanically isolated) for the total consumption. 01.10.09 | | Testversion CS Soft Professional | |
| | | Data evaluation for compressed air: Consumption, humidity, pressure dew point, volume flow, pressure, temperature and current. Nowadays measuring is not enough. The measured data needs to be analyzed and understandable reports have to be created. With the CS Soft Professional this becomes an easy task.

02.05.09 | | CS Instruments participated in the world's largest industrial fair with a stand in Hall 26 ComVac |
| | | The number of expert visitors from more than 40 different countries who came to the stand of CS Instruments exceeded the figure of the year 2007 by approximately 30 %. A particular interest was shown in the new 6 channel compressed air analyzer DS 300 mobile. By means of this device it is possible to carry out easily an energy analysis - consumption measurement of up to 12 compressed air compressors. Further topics were the leakage detection and leakage calculation at compressed air systems and there was also a great interest in the crosslinking and the BUS systems like e. g. M-Bus.
The Hanover Fair 2009 turned out to be very successful for CS Instruments.

05.02.09 | | New pressure or temperature measurement with alarm |
| | | For pressure or temperature monitoring the product range of CS Instruments will include as of now completely wired sets consisting of the DS 52 wall display, a pressure resp. temperature sensor and connection cables. The alarm limits (2 x change-over contacts, 230 V AC, 3 A) can be freely adjusted. The voltage supply of the sensor and the forwarding of the sensor signal is effected via screw clamps in DS 52.

19.01.09 | | Our agency TEMS participated in the fair PCV EXPO 2008 in Moscow |
| | | The exhibition PCV EXPO 2008 took place from 21 to24 October 2008 in the Crocus Expo Center in Moscow. The PCV EXPO is one of the leading exhibitions in the sector of pumps, compressor technology and fittings on the Russian market as well as in the whole CIS. The motto of the fair was "Energy saving in the industry". Our Russian agency "Techelektromontage-Service (TEMS)" participated in the PCV EXPO with an own stand. They presented the measuring instruments of CS for compressed air analysis. Escecially the mobile unit DS 300 for easy and quick analysis of compressed air systems appealed to the customers. More than 500 companies from 25 countries were represented on this exhibition, more than 15,000 visitors came to the PCV EXPO.

09.12.08 | | Dew point measurement at rail vehicles |
| | | Compressed air is used for controlling break systems and door openers of rail vehicles. This compressed air has to be free from any condensate otherwise the brake system and the pneumatic door openers may freeze in winter and there could be corrosion damages in the distribution network and at pneumatic components (cylinders, valves). For this reason a regular dew point measurement is essential. Especially for dew point measurement in compressed air systems of rail vehicles CS Instruments GmbH has developed the portable dew point meter DP 300 for increasing the operating safety.
