The production of PET bottles through the process of blow-moulding requires a pressure of 25 to 40 bar. At the same time, the air needs to be dry and it must be ensured that it doesn’t exceed a certain dew point limit. Due to the higher compression of up to 40 bar, the compressed air has a greater water content than decompressed air. For this reason, greater attention must be paid to compressed air drying and dew point monitoring. High residual moisture in the compressed air will lead to poor product quality and production wastage.
To monitor the blow-moulding process efficiently, CS Instruments offers a special high pressure measuring chamber up to 50 bar in combination with the measuring technology.
For residual moisture measurement after desiccant dryers/ membrane dryers from -80 to 20°Ctd. New: with Modbus-RTU interface.
