Application report Dew point sensors in the ozone generator

Our FA510 Dew point sensor is used successfully in a special system that produces ozone from treated Compressed air. The ozone is used to sanitise a storage and distribution system for ultrapure water, for which purpose the ozone concentration in the water is kept between 300-800ppb. If microorganisms are detected in the water, the ozone concentration can be increased up to 1000ppb by means of the system.

Treated oxygen is required to generate the ozone. This is obtained from purified Compressed air via an oxygen generator. The FA510 Dew point sensor is used in the supply line between the oxygen tank and the ozone generator. It monitors the Dew point of the oxygen, which must not exceed -50°C. This ensures the perfect quality of the oxygen for ozone production.
