Optimizing compressed air quality while reducing energy costs - simple and inexpensive

Compressed air systems are highly complex and energy-intensive systems and therefore often a significant factor in the energy costs of a company. A reduction in energy costs in compressed air systems should therefore always be one of the highest premises of any economically sustainable company.

It is often underestimated how much influence the filter system really has when talking about energy costs of compressed air systems. As the diagram illustrates, the energy costs of compressed air filters increase disproportionately from a certain differential pressure within the filter system. Therefore, to comply with the manufacturer's specifications regarding the proposed replacement intervals of compressed air filters should be taken for granted anyway in order to avoid unnecessary costs. Of course, the actual optimal time for changing filters can never be determined in this way.

This is where our newly developed differential pressure sensor comes into play. The small, inexpensive and easy-to-install device helps you to determine the optimal time to change the filter, thus not only permanently reducing your energy costs, but also ensuring a consistently high compressed air quality.

As we always strive to provide simple and intuitive solutions, we have added two new dew point sets to our portfolio, which already include this differential pressure probe. Within the new mobile set, our PI 500 - portable flow meter is used, while the set for stationary dew point measurement is based on our device DS 52 – digital process meter. Of course, both sets also contain the necessary connection cables for the connection between the differential pressure sensor and the respective measuring device (details and order numbers can be found in the data sheet for the differential pressure sensor).

If you have any questions or are interested in our new differential pressure probe or one of the two sets for dew point measurement, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our experts are happy to help.
