Dew point measurement on Nitrogen or oxygen generators

Nitrogen and oxygen generators are always used where the two gases are produced directly on site from compressed air at low cost. Compressed air that has been cold-dried and purified is usually used.

Dew point measurement is of great importance at two different points:

  • Dew point monitoring downstream of the Refrigeration dryer or at the inlet to the generator ensures that the generator is not flooded with condensate and damaged as a result if the Refrigeration dryer fails.
  • The Dew point or residual moisture in the Nitrogen or oxygen produced is an important quality criterion. Dew point values of -40°Ctd must often be ensured and guaranteed.

Dew point monitoring in the Nitrogen or oxygen line allows the dew point to be monitored and documented online as part of quality assurance.

CS INSTRUMENTS has reliable Dew point transmitters in its portfolio for both applications.
