Moisture and oil measurement in wire drawing and cable production

To increase the flexibility and conductivity of copper wires, a chamber filled with Nitrogen is fed into new generation copper wire production lines immediately after wire drawing. The purity of Nitrogen in the chamber should be around 99%. Otherwise, the wire produced is more fragile and its conductivity is not satisfactory. It is also important to use Nitrogen so that the wire produced does not oxidize or tarnish.

Therefore, continuous monitoring of Oil and moisture levels at the inlet of the nitrogen generator is extremely important to maintain product quality.
