Met behulp van dit speciale boorapparaat kan binnen enkele minuten na het vastlassen van een draadsokkel een meetplaats worden ingesteld en vervolgens een kogelkraan worden geïnstalleerd.

Als alternatief voor het vastlassen van de mof kan een tapklem worden gebruikt.
