The open-air event illustrates the forward-looking successes of innovative SMEs and the effectiveness of the federal government's innovation promotion programme, which is open to all topics and sectors.

"Change through innovation" - at the SME Innovation Day, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection Dr Robert Habeck will enter into dialogue with SMEs and research institutions. Around 300 exhibitors from all regions of Germany will present the results of their BMWK-funded research and development projects. They symbolise the wealth of ideas and innovative strength of small and medium-sized enterprises. In 2023, the focus will be on Sustainability and Climate Protection, Digitalisation and Health.
