For over 20 years, CS INSTRUMENTS GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in VS-Tannheim, has been synonymous with high-quality, innovative measuring technology ‘Made in Germany’. What began as a specialist company has developed into a global manufacturer that is now one of the leading suppliers of measuring devices for compressed air and gases. Next year, CS INSTRUMENTS will celebrate its 25th anniversary – a milestone that symbolises consistency, innovative strength and entrepreneurial vision.
CS INSTRUMENTS’ products make a significant contribution to energy efficiency, process reliability and sustainability in industrial applications. Compressed air is regarded as an indispensable energy source in many businesses – yet it also offers significant potential for savings. This is precisely where the company’s measuring technology comes into its own: sensors and measurement systems reliably monitor, analyse and evaluate compressed air and gas systems. This enables inefficiencies, leaks or quality deviations to be detected at an early stage, before they become problems.
Expertise from the Black Forest for the world
The portfolio includes, amongst other things, solutions for dew point measurement, consumption measurement, leak detection and compressed air quality monitoring. These help customers worldwide to reduce energy losses, lower operating costs and make production processes safer. Whether it’s moisture in compressed air and gas systems, flow rates, residual oil, particles or leaks: CS INSTRUMENTS provides precise data as the basis for cost-effective and sustainable decisions.
Despite its international focus, the company is firmly rooted in the region. Development, production and calibration all take place in Germany. In this way, CS INSTRUMENTS consistently prioritises quality, short supply chains and in-house technical expertise. At the same time, a global sales and service network comprising 15 wholly-owned subsidiaries worldwide – including in the USA, China and India – guarantees close customer support directly on site. Since its foundation, this global network has been one of the main reasons for the company’s steady growth. With exports accounting for over 60 per cent of turnover, CS INSTRUMENTS is no longer so heavily dependent on the German market.
