Hot tapping saddles
If there is no measuring point with a 1/2" ball valve on existing pipelines, a measuring point can be set up quickly and inexpensively using hot tapping saddles.
The hot tapping saddle is slipped over the pipe and tightened using threaded rods. The comprehensive rubber seal is pressure-tight up to 10 bar. The hot tapping saddle can be drilled into the existing pipe through the 1/2" ball valve using the drilling jig.
Important: When ordering, please specify the exact outside diameter of the existing pipe or select the appropriate hot tapping saddle from the data sheet.
