Details

With our long range ultrasonic leak detector. Finding refrigerant leaks is now faster than ever. With a range of up to 5m, ladders or lifts are often not required to check your installation. Components can be checked at walking speed. Easily covering 50m/min of piping even on hard to reach components and pipes.

Insulation does not need to be removed, even further reducing the time spend on site to find your leak.

With one sensor for all gas types and no calibration or start up time. The LD450R makes for an easy to use tool suitable for all sorts of leak checks. Perfect for verifying the nitrogen pressure hold test or to find leaks in an installation in operation.

How it works?

If gases escape through leaks in pressurized systems (e.g. non-tight screwed connections, corrosions and so on), ultrasonic noises are generated. By means of LD450R, even the smallest leakages which cannot be heard by the human ear and which are not visible due to their size can be detected even from distances of several meters. LD450R transforms the inaudible signals into a frequency which can be identified by human beings. By means of the comfortable soundproof headset, these noises can be detected even in extremely noisy environments and while the system is running. With ultrasound leaks can still be detected accurately in windy outdoor environments and saturated spaces.

CS INSTRUMENTS has been developing ultrasonic leak detectors since 2006. Now with a special calibration for refrigerant leaks.

The LD450R meets the requirements of class I instruments for the norm “Standard Test Method for Leaks with Ultrasound” (ASTM Int. - E1002-05)
