High-pressure protection

This accessory is designed to enable CS sensors of the VA 5xx/VD 5xx series to be installed under pressure and securely fixed in place. Its use is strongly recommended for media pressures of 10 bar and above.

Details

  • Set up the point of measurement with a pipe connection (R 1/2 male thread) in accordance with the instructions in the sensors’ installation manual
  • Screw on the high-pressure protection so that it is pressure-tight and align it so that the ball valve can be operated by hand
  • Close the ball valve before fitting the sensor
